We are seeking a Payroll Administrator to join the Giltner family of companies. We are a quickly growing organization and we utilize modern technology to keep a driving edge in today's economy. 

 

Payroll Administrator Responsibilities

  • Handle daily payroll department operations, including collecting and verifying timekeeping information and processing payroll

  • Maintain accurate payroll records including required payroll garnishments

  • Reconcile bank statements

  • Understanding of payroll taxes and withholdings

  • Accounts payable and receivable

  • Manage employee benefits

  • Responds to payroll and benefit related inquiries and resolving concerns

  • Ensure that employee payroll processing is compliant with Federal and State laws

  • Manage salary changes, deductions, bonuses, PTO payouts

  • Assist with the onboarding of new employees

  • Maintain employee confidentiality and protect payroll operations by keeping all private information confidential

  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

Payroll Administrator Qualifications

  • Experience with QuickBooks required

  • Accounting/payroll experience is a plus

  • Strong proficiency in Excel and Word

  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, and excellent people skills

  • Ability to organize, multitask, and prioritize in a deadline-driven environment

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
